Cellnex Netherlands Acquires Radio Netwerk Nederland (RNN)
Cellnex Netherlands B.V. — including Cellnex Broadcast Partners — has strengthened its position in the Dutch radio distribution market with the acquisition of Radio Netwerk Nederland (RNN) from N. Silvius Holding.
The deal focuses specifically on terrestrial radio distribution services. RNN’s content activities, including NLRadio and commercial radio production, remain under the ownership of N. Silvius Holding.
For Cellnex Broadcast Partners, it unlocks the ability to further enhance, modernize, and scale radio infrastructure for both regional and national broadcasters.
Cellnex is now integrating RNN’s terrestrial radio assets into its existing network while keeping all current infrastructure fully intact, including recently built NLPO systems.
The acquisition supports Cellnex Broadcast Partners’ broader ambition to expand its role in Dutch terrestrial radio.
