4iG Group to launch Starlink Mobile in Hungary and Albania

4iG Group is set to launch Starlink Mobile, SpaceX’s Direct-to-Cell service, in Hungary and Albania.

The rollout timeline will depend on regulatory, technical, and commercial conditions in each market.

4iG also plans to incorporate the next-generation Starlink Mobile V2 technology across Hungary, Albania, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. The V2 service is intended to enable high-speed broadband connectivity directly to mobile phones.

Separately, 4iG and SpaceX will develop Sovereign Solutions, an integrated service combining enhanced satellite communications with end-to-end secure data communications.

Planned for launch in 2027, the service is expected to provide broadband connectivity alongside secure sovereign network infrastructure.
