Emitel Wins Build-to-Suit with Orange Polska
Emitel, has signed a significant long-term build-to-suit (BTS) agreement with Orange Polska to accelerate mobile network expansion across the country.
Under the deal, Emitel will construct hundreds of new telecom towers for Orange over the coming years. Orange will serve as the anchor tenant on each site.
As part of the BTS model, Emitel will also be able to lease additional capacity on these towers to Poland’s other mobile network operators, strengthening long-term tenancy growth. The investment will be funded from Emitel’s own free cash flow, demonstrating the platform’s financial resilience.
Emitel currently operates 762 towers and serves all four major Polish MNOs. Since Cordiant acquired the company in 2022, Emitel has expanded its tower portfolio by 27% and increased revenue by 37%. With the new agreement, its tower footprint is set to exceed 1,000 sites nationwide.
