InfraRed Acquires Proximus Towers in Luxembourg

Proximus Group has officially completed the sale of its mobile tower infrastructure in Luxembourg to InfraRed’s European Infrastructure Income Fund 4 (EIIF4) for approximately €111 million.

The agreement, originally signed in November last year, has now passed all regulatory approvals, enabling both parties to close the deal on June 12. Proximus has already received the full proceeds, which include cash held on the company’s balance sheet.

This transaction is a key milestone in Proximus’ broader strategy to streamline and optimize its asset base, contributing toward the Group’s target of over €500 million in divestments by 2027.

It marks another step in strengthening the company’s balance sheet while supporting long-term investment priorities.
