Orange to Acquire Full Ownership of MasOrange
Orange has signed a binding agreement with Lorca to acquire the remaining 50% stake in MasOrange for €4.25 billion in cash, securing full ownership of Spain’s largest telecom operator by customer base.
This transaction marks a significant step in accelerating Orange’s “Lead the Future” strategic plan. Full ownership further strengthens Orange’s position in Spain, its second-largest European market, and underlines the Group’s long-term industrial commitment to the country.
Orange also reaffirmed its confidence in MasOrange’s management team and its ability to create sustainable value for customers, employees, and shareholders.
The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
